This story just gets crazier by the minute, no pun intended.  Several months ago we found out that Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar in Market Common, Myrtle Beach brought a lawsuit against 810 Billiards and Bowling.  The milkshake bar operated inside the bowling facility.  There were some pretty ugly allegations and Crazy Mason asked for a jury trial and made it known they intended to relocate.  And, they did relocate to a spot at 2461 Coastal Grand Cir., opening in March.  Well, the former Crazy Mason Milkshake location now belongs to "Mean Mugs Milkshake Bar."

According to Yahoo News, the new eerily similar style Myrtle Beach milkshake bar announced the opening this past Wednesday.  And, Mean Mugs Milkshake bar offers 12 milkshake options along with ice cream, too.  Plus, in looking at the menu, not only do the creations resemble those of the Crazy Mason, they have wacky names too.  Creations such as "The Silly Monkey," with a banana pudding and chocolate theme as well as "The Crazy Nut," with peanut butter ice cream, Reese's cup and Nutter Butter cookies.  You get the idea.  And, they all have those insane over the edge toppings.  Don't get me wrong.  I think stuff like this can be delicious.  I just can't help but notice the irony.

Furthermore, Yahoo News reports the Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar lawsuit was ultimately dropped.  Apparently the "drama and negativity" Crazy Mason spoke of during their split with 810 Billiards and Bowling has now played out.  Hopefully all's well that ends well.  And, after all, there's enough love of wacky milkshake creations to go around for multiple players, right?   So, take a look at the full menu.  And, continue to satisfy your bowling and milkshake craving at this location in Market Common.  Or, visit the other 810/Crazy Mason facility on Hwy. 17 S. in North Myrtle Beach.

6 Of The Best Places To Get Milkshakes In Charlotte

Growing up Milkshakes were my favorite! I could rank just about every place in Charlotte by the quality of their milkshake. As I got older I drifted away from them being my go-to beverage and dessert. But with today being National Chocolate Milkshake Day, I figured it was a good time to visit this frosty treat. There are many many places you can get milkshakes in Charlotte. Everyone knows to go to chains whether fast food or ice cream and their milkshake offerings. I will forever be a fan of Cookout milkshakes for one! But there are some more localized spots you may or may not have tried.  And those places are what this list is about!

We will visit six places around Charlotte, many with multiple locations, to discover some new shakes to try out. From local ice cream spots, burger bars with boozy options, or your classic 1950s milkshake. You can't go wrong with the basic chocolate or vanilla but the fancier flavors can be delicious as well. I have to say making this list made me crave a good shake. I guess my only decision now is which of these places to visit after work. Or maybe I can sneak away and no one would notice? What's your favorite place to get milkshakes in Charlotte? If I missed any let us know on social media!
