This wasn’t my sister’s house but it was in her neighborhood. A 9 foot alligator gets trapped in the backyard of this North Carolina home. Luckily the homeowner saw the beast before stepping outside.
It all went down this past weekend in Sunset Beach, North Carolina. It happened in the Sea Trail subdivision. The gator wandered into the backyard and somehow tripped the latch on the door and locked itself in. He wasn’t too crazy about his unintentional confinement as you can imagine. Alligators do not climb metal fences. The Sunset Beach police department was called and saved the day.
It took a second or two to wrestle the beast but wrestle him they did. They were able to safely return the gator back to a neighborhood pond. So watch your small dogs and children he is still in the neighborhood but not in your backyard.
