Now, we’re not ones to go around spreading rumors.  We wait on facts:)  Many people have been wondering why in the world Kevin Costner’s wife of 18 years would want to divorce him.  It is clear he didn’t want it.  No cheating involved allegedly.   Here is the real reason why Kevin Costner’s wife may have filed for divorce.

A source tells Panola Watchman via People magazine that “Christine wants them to spend family time at their Santa Barbara home.  During filming, Kevin is not around very much.  His abscence has been very hard for her. Christine doesn’t want him to throw himself into another project.  He has been obsessed with filming “Horizon” since last year.  She wasn’t happy about it”.

The couple has three children.  Take it from me and I am going to shout it loudly.  This problem is something that can be worked out and divorce is earth shatteringly painful.  Of course I don’t know them or their situation but I have been divorced, eventually remarried a man I have known since I’m 16 and share two kids and a grandchild.  And this notion of “kids are resilient”. Nonsense.  Nothing could be better for children than to remain in their nuclear family with two parents who love one another and work to stay together.  Of course divorce is necessary in some situations but so many don’t have to happen.  Just my two cents.

14 Movies That Turn 35 In 2023

1988 was a big year in movies with such blockbusters like Beaches and the ultimate Christmas movie Die Hard starring Bruce Willis. 1988 also saw the movie career of then TV star Tom Hanks transform into a movie star in Big. Of course, there was Rain Man, which earned Dustin Hoffman a Best Actor Oscar.

It was also a year when we saw just how Scrooged Bill Murray could be and talked a lot about A Fish Called Wanda. Young Guns brought Westerns back to the movie screen in a big way with an all-star cast that included Emilio Estevez and Keifer Sutherland. And who could forget the Eddie Murphy classic Coming To America? It was a big year for movies, no doubt.
