KPNX says a homeless dog from Phoenix recently survived a rattlesnake bite and then gave birth to seven healthy puppies.

The Arizona Humane Society says she was brought to an emergency animal clinic where she was given anti-venom treatments. They called the dog Molly. After Molly was given the antivenom treatment, she  gave birth to three puppies.

AHS's medical team immediately jumped into action to transport Molly and the pups to the shelter’s trauma hospital. She then gave birth to four more puppies.

Molly and the babies were all placed in AHS’ "Mutternity Suites," a quiet, medically supervised area for pregnant and nursing dogs. They all are healthy. Molly and her puppies are all being cared for and eventually will head to foster homes.
