It looks like for something as important as graduation that someone would proof read the word "graduate".  That did not happen at a learning establishment.  This high school can't spell graduate correctly.

Rich Township High School in Illinois recently distributed 600 graduation stoles that read "gradutate" instead of graduate.   School official admit they did not notice the mistake until students started bringing it to their attention.  They say they never checked the stoles.

They released a statement that read: "regrettably, there was an error in the graduation sashes provided to us by our vendor, this mistake went unnoticed until the sashes were distributed.  The graduates had already walked the state and for that we sincerely apologize".  Oh dear.  To learn more get all the details right here from WGN.
