There is lucky and then there is lucky. This North Carolina woman wins her second huge lottery jackpot in three years. Teresa Williams from Forest City, North Carolina is living the dream.
This Rutherford County lady recently won her second six figure lottery jackpot! Here is how it happened the second time. Teresa stopped at a convenience store and simply purchased a scratch off ticket like so many of us do. Only hers was worth $100,000. Williams won $150,00 back in 2020.
According to the North Carolina Education Lottery,Williams bought her lucky Mega 7’s ticket from Prisha Mart on U.S. 74A Bypass in Forest City. She has already collected her prize. After taxes and other fees she takes home $71,256.
The money raised in Rutherford County goes to a good cause. According to the North Carolina Education lottery, “ticket sales from scratch-off games make it possible for the lottery to raise more than $2.5 million a day on average for education. The state provided a $15 million grant, using money raised by the lottery, to help Rutherford County build a new middle school.”
