Coleman was born and raised in Charlotte. His first job after college was working for Lowes. He worked there for nearly 13 years. During this time, a friend at work convinced Coleman to create a Youtube channel.

Coleman is known by many children as Danny Go!. He creates videos for young kids on the platform. He makes his content with his two best friends. His largest video as of right now has about 27 million views.

Danny Coleman said he’s inspired by the platform. This is because it helps him raise awareness for something he cares about. Coleman has two sons. Issac who is 11, and Levi who is 7. His older son, Issac, was born with a serious genetic disorder. Due to his condition, his son has had many surgeries. He has had a kidney transplant and a bone marrow transplant. He is also missing bones. They have found some donors on Be The Match in the past.
