North Carolina Farmers Market Gets “Corny” With Unique Spin On Dad Joke Contest For A Prize He’ll Love
Charlie standing next to a donkey named Penelope. Make your own dad joke here. Maybe you could compete with your favorite agriculture related dad joke at the Charlotte Farmers Market Dad Joke Competition for Father's Day.
Father’s Day is coming up, and in keeping with the holiday a North Carolina Farmers Market is hosting a unique dad joke competition. According to Charlotte on the Cheap, the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market plans a free joke off event. And, here’s the twist. The dad joke contest will be “agriculture-related.”
The site points out that those over 18 need to bring their best “dad joke” with an agriculture slant to compete. And, the dad joke contest offers up prizes including one Dad will really love. There’s a chance to win a Weber Grill. Of course, Dad’s Day is Sunday, the 18th. So, the competition begins on the 18th, 11 a.m. at the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market at 1801 Yorkmont Rd.
The Market is open all year long Wednesdays through Sundays. And, if you’re familiar with the market, they are always cooking up fun events appropriately themed to holidays or seasons. So, this is just one more of those awesome times.
Charlotte Regional Famers Market suggests bringing your own chair to the competition. And, then just sit back and get ready to laugh as the dad jokes fly. For more info on signing up, contact them at 704-357-1269.
But, spread the word to all the dads you know! I mean, what dad wouldn’t want a chance to win a Weber Grill?! After all, those grill master dads are usually “out-standing in their field.” Luckily, I don’t have to compete in the dad joke contest because clearly I am tapped out on agriculture dad jokes!
