Earlier this year, a Facebook post from Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar announced the first of two Charlotte, North Carolina area locations would be in Concord at 5965 Thunder Road.  The post didn't give much information on opening dates or even where the 2nd Charlotte area location would be.  But, it told us to stay tuned for hiring and opening day info.  Well, the latest update, according to WBTW, indicates the owner and founder says the first location is expected to open by  "end of summer."

So, to this news we say a hearty "woo hoo!"   It's a really fun place and concept.  And, we visited a few times in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  They have 2 locations there.  Admittedly, it's an occasional treat.  The creations at Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar really are insane.  Obviously, we tend to share since they're so rich and decadent.  But, they are delicious.

I remember the first time I visited the Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar in Myrtle Beach I ordered a treat called "How It All Pecan."  And, it literally was topped with a full sized slice of pecan pie.  My oh my.  So, if you've never been you'll truly be delighted and amazed at how over the top the dishes are.  And, if you want to put in some time at the dishwashing station you can even take your mason jar home as a souvenir.  However, mine is never empty because I just can't finish it!

We'll keep an eye out for more news about Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar's new Charlotte area locations.  In the mean time, take a look at their menu and get an idea of what to expect.

And, see the full story including more info on new and future locations.
