Shih Tzus are considered to be very devoted companions. They tend to follow their owners around the house at almost all times. Although they may follow you everywhere, they won't cause a commotion while they do. The Shih Tzu has an adorable teddy-bear-like appearance and their long hair makes them well suited to cold weather.

Pugs are often times considered to be the clowns of the dog world. This is for their huge love of play and their goofy, lovable, confident personalities. These dogs love to show off anything they learn to their owners which means they can learn a lot of cool tricks. They are also low maintenance in terms of grooming and exercise. These pups only really need one short walk a day to remain healthy and happy.

The English Toy Spaniel is very similar to its big cousin, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. These lap dogs require much less time at the park or chasing a ball when compared to other dogs. The English Toy Spaniel would much rather curl up in their owners' laps instead of doing any other activities. This breed does require a small amount of maintenance, it is recommended that they are brushed at least twice a week. Other than that, they don't require much more. However, it may take time and effort to find this rare breed.
