According to WCNC Charlotte, currently, Charlotte is one of the fastest-growing cities in the entire country. This means that the city has a lot of construction work happening. There's just one big problem, there aren't enough workers to keep up with the large number of projects. However, a new high school in Charlotte is attempting to fix this problem.

Aspire Trade High School will give students the opportunity to get their diploma and a trade job opportunity upon graduation.

This new high school is yet another construction project in the Charlotte area. However, once the school is built it will pick students who are interested in construction or other trades and begin training them to fill the vacancies in trade jobs.

The trade school isn't just for construction and includes training for jobs in medical data, culinary and other technical education fields. The school will serve as an entire trade school for high school students. The program starts in the ninth grade and the curriculum is equally split between the standard learning curriculum and learning trade. The program is made for students who aren't considering college and is more of a hands-on trade school.

Seniors at the school will have on-site apprenticeships and the chance to get a job in their preferred field as soon as they graduate.

The school is currently set to open in August and is still taking applications from anyone who wishes to join to fill the 500-plus spots available.
