Severe Turbulence Injured Many On Flight From North Carolina To Florida

Turbulence happens very often. As a matter of fact almost every time I fly on an airplane there is some degree of it. This was different. Severe turbulence injured many on a flight from North Carolina to Florida.
According to Channel 9 in Charlotte, after a flight on approach from Asheville, North Carolina to St. Pete- Clearwater several people had to be taken to the hospital. Emergency crews were called to the scene after Allegiant Air Flight 227 landed. There were 179 passengers on board and 6 crew members.
Here is a statement from the airline reported by WSOCTV in Charlotte, “Airport paramedics met the plane to assess two passengers and two flight attendants for injuries. They were transported to the hospital for further evaluation.” Allegiant goes on to say they will be investigating the incident. To learn more get details right here. Freig, Vice President of Operations and Commercial for Mexico, the Caribbean, and Latin America. “We are proud to strengthen our lead as the largest U.S. airline in the region, with more flights and seats to more destinations than any other single carrier or partnership.”
