Paddle Pub In Myrtle Beach South Carolina Area Is Latest Way For Visitors To Party On The Pontoon
In the many trips we take to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina each year, we always look for new and unique adventures. Well, this newest “Paddle Pub” I read about fits that bill. Picture combining the traditional street “pedal pub” with a pontoon. And, that’s when you get Paddle Pub Myrtle Beach.
According to My Horry News, Paddle Pub Myrtle Beach is a pedal powered pontoon boat that accommodates 26 passengers. You bring your favorite food and drinks and board the Paddle Pub for a tour of the Intracoastal Waterway. The pedal driven pontoon departs from Harbourgate Marina Club on Little River Neck Rd. And, the party begins.
The Paddle Pub has music and a motor. Of course, that was my husband’s first question when I told him about it. He would be the passenger who refused to be a team player and do his part paddling. So, that’s why the motor is there! And, for your next question, yes, there’s a bathroom. The business had their first guests over the July 4th weekend.
To me, this seems like a fun idea for any kind of celebration. We saw some bachelorette parties this weekend. I think that would be a fun activity for such a gathering. Or, maybe book a birthday or graduation party. And, the Paddle Pub stops along the way if you like.
One time, we rented a small pontoon with our own captain. We brought food and drinks and played music. And, we did a Tiki cruise, too. There was room for six of us as we cruised up and down the waterway. We stopped at restaurants to grab a bite or a drink and a potty break. But, this newest Paddle Pub sounds like our next adventure!
