Like Skittles?  Yep, I do too.  I also like mustard...on my hot dogs.  Skittles newest flavor is their most unique yet.  Soon, you will be able to purchase mustard flavored skittles.  You have National Mustard Day to thank for this creation.

Skittles has recently partnered with French's mustard to launch their most unique flavor yet. This unusual combination is a response to the growing trend of quirky off beat blends of flavors. It's being referred to as summer's tangiest candy. This very special product will hit shelves August 5 for National Mustard day according to Food and Wine.  No word yet on if this is for a limited time only or will be a permanent addition.

Last year, French's delighted us with mustard ice cream.  Sadly, I didn't get a chance to sample any. This is the 5th year the company  has gotten creative with National Mustard Day observances. Valda Coryat, Vice President of Marketing for McCormick and Company released this statement to Food and Wine, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Skittles to deliver our beloved Classic Yellow Mustard tang in a new, fun way to French’s and Skittles fans alike.”

Be on the lookout for "Mustard's Mobile".  They will be traveling from city to city handing out samples.  To learn more about Skittles newest and most unique flavor yet, get details in Food and Wine right here.

Hey, I'll try anything once! But I will probably keep my mustard on my hot dogs.

This Retro Candy Rank’s as North Carolina’s No. 1 Choice

If I could eat candy every day, I would. Sadly I would be in poor health if I did, so that is why I currently don't. Candy sweet tooth is very different in America, there's no sugarcoating that fact. The team at Coventry Direct wondered if each state had a favorite retro candy. Based on search volume for 56 classic candies, Coventry mapped out the most popular choices by state and region.

Trying to find Americans’ favorite candy in every state was jawbreakingly sweet, but no easy task. Based on a list of 58 childhood candies that are still being produced today, the study used Google Trends data from February 2021 to February 2022 to find out which nostalgic candy is America’s favorite.

North Carolina has a particular sweet tooth for a certain treat. Find out what it is below. We also included some additional state favorites on the list too. Personally, Sno-Caps are my weakness. Turns out I’d fit in just fine in New Hampshire and Wyoming! You can view the full report and your state’s favorites here.
