Winning $2 Million Powerball Ticket Sold At South Carolina Store Famous For Another Huge Ticket

Everyone has lottery fever these days.  We even have a Powerball pool in the office among future millionaire hopefuls.  And, we try our hand from time to time as well.  According to WYFF, a South Carolina store that sold a winning $2 million Powerball ticket recently also famously sold another huge ticket in 2018.

The store is the KC Mart on Lee Vaughn Rd. in Simpsonville, South Carolina.  The recent ticket matched five white ball numbers.  However, the red Powerball missed.  But, the lucky ticket holder opted for the PowerPlay at the time of purchase.  And, that means the $1 million prize became $2 million.  Apparently, it’s worth the extra buck!  And, back in 2018 the same store sold a $1.5 billion Mega Millions ticket.

With so many folks getting in on the large future jackpots, the potential amounts change constantly.  But, Saturday night’s Powerball could be worth around $60 million.  And, Mega Millions climbs to record numbers above $900 million.  And, that would amount to more than $460 million with the cash option.

We all have little tricks, superstitions or lucky numbers when it comes to playing the lottery.  And, some just choose to let the numbers come randomly.  It makes sense.  After all, the machine randomly picks the winning numbers.  It’s fun when the pot climbs to such high numbers.  We tend to imagine ourselves living lifestyles of the rich and famous.  And, alas, our dreams usually get crushed in an instant.  However, I had a little bit of luck recently with scratch offs.  I won a whopping $10!  Don’t be jealous.
