Hot Apple Cider Donuts Irresistible At This Favorite South Carolina Orchard Opening Soon

Okay, I get it.  It’s still hotter than 6 Hells outside.  Not all schools have started back.  However, there are signs that my favorite season, fall, is just around the corner.  Last week, we had the first football game on TV (it was NFL pre-season, I know, but humor me).  Wal Mart, Target and other stores already have their Halloween products on display.  And now, news that Windy Hill Orchard & Cidery is set to open next week (August 17) for the season.

Windy Hill is a one stop shop for some of my favorite things.  For starters, apples.  You can pick your own off the trees at Windy Hill.  Also, the cider (hard and otherwise) at Windy Hill is to die for.  Speaking of to die for, ask anyone about Windy Hill Orchard & Cidery and three words are always used:  apple cider donuts.

You might as well have said “manna from Heaven.”  Sign me up, I’m in.

Opening for Fall 2023 Season August 17th through December 23rd!

The Farm Stand will be Open for to-go purchases Thursday through Sunday 10:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m.

The Cider Bar will be Open Friday 12:00 p.m till 7:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 10:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. with Last Call 15 minutes prior to close.

As far as picking your own apples goes, this won’t be a thing until September 7.  Also, you’ll need to pre-purchase a reservation to do so.  EVERYONE two years of age and older MUST have a reservation.
