Kia Is Recalling 320,00 Vehicles
Kia is reportedly recalling 320,000 vehicles. The recall is due in part to a trunk malfunction.
According to Channel 9, the recall affects the Kia Rio and Kia Optima cars including the hybrids. It affects the models from 2016-2018. This could potentially be a safety issue. The manufacturer says the trunk latch may break as well as not open from the inside. If not repaired, this could put someone at risk for being trapped.
Recall letters should be mailed out by October 19th. The fix won’t cost anything. Just take your Kia vehicle in and they will make the necessary repairs for free according to Channel 9. Get more details right here.
