Opposites Don’t Actually Attract According To A New Study
I can’t keep all these relationship rules straight. For the longest time all you heard was “opposites attract”, now apparently that is not true. Opposites don’t actually attract according to a new study.
That is the result from a study by Colorado University in Boulder. They studied more than 130 traits and included millions of couples over more than a century. Wow! That is a lot of people and over a very long period of time. Basically researchers say “birds of a feather flock together” .
The study confirms what different studies have hinted for many years, defying the old adage that “opposites attract”. It says that for up to 89 percent of the traits analyzed, ranging from politics to sex to substance use long term partners were similar.
