Luck of the Irish? Try the luck of the North Carolinian. Researchers at Casino.com recently conducted a survey on America’s good luck charms. They asked survey respondents about their luckiest days, numbers, color, items, and months and shared the data with us. And listen I can be superstitious. I had a Panthers jersey that coincidentally we went an entire season (until the playoffs) where we won every time I wore it. I won’t wear a jersey to a college football game in person as all but once we have lost when I wore it. And who doesn’t have a lucky number? Not that mine has ever paid off! So what are the luckiest things according to North Carolina? Some might surprise you. Others, make perfect sense. Keep reading to see what the survey results said are the luckiest things in North Carolina. Do you agree?

• The Color Green

  While nationwide respondents chose blue, North Carolinians decided green is their lucky color. And it's the color of money and those elusive four leaf clovers so I support that. Manifesting a lot of green in my pockets soon!

• Lucky Number 7

  I was always partial to 8, but you know the saying lucky number 7. And as someone who has had people spin a prizewheel and guess their favorite number millions of times. 7 is by far the most common choice.

• September

  I feel like this is a toss up, I honestly wouldn't know what to pick! Perhaps my birth month? Nationwide March was the choice, but NC feels like September has some magic.
• Friday

  Friday is an interesting choice, but I guess kicking off the weekend is the luckiest you feel? I'd have said Saturday- you're lucky to be able to be off work and do what you want (hopefully) all day.

• Sweatshirt

  Share

  Lucky socks? Perhaps a sports jersey? Nope North Carolinians say their luckiest item of clothing is a sweatshirt. I get it, I have a comfort football watching sweatshirt that I hope brings my team good luck!
