Billy Miller, the Emmy Award-winning soap opera actor, has died at age 43. Miller is best known for roles in ‘All My Children,’ ‘General Hospital’ and ‘The Young and the Restless.’
Variety says the cause of death is currently unknown, but a rep confirmed the actor was struggling with manic depression. He also battled a rare condition that affects the cartilage in your ankles.
Billy was born in Texas. His break into the entertainment industry came when he was signed as a model to Wilhelmina, and later went on to play Richie Novak from 2007 to 2008 in the soap opera “All My Children.” Miller then moved over to “The Young and the Restless” to take over the role of Billy Abbott.
Miller won three Daytime Emmy Awards for his performance as Billy Abbott on ‘The Young and the Restless.’
Billy is survived by his mother Patricia, sister Megan, brother-in-law Ronnie, nephew Grayson, and niece Charley.
