Some West Coast pranksters may have just gotten shut down.  This California city has outlawed this on Halloween.  Beverly Hills has officially outlawed silly string and shaving cream on Halloween.

During a Tuesday council meeting, the Beverly Hills City Council voted 5-0 to adopt a new ordinance that prohibits the possession of Silly String, “hair removal products” and shaving cream on Halloween.

KTLA states, “The ordinance was passed, city officials said, in order to create a safe, family-friendly environment. City officials said police have wanted these things banned for years.  They said in a press release, “When used improperly, the products outlined in the ordinance may cause harm to individuals, property, and the environment.”

Here is what is strange. The possession of toilet paper and eggs remains allowed within city limits.

The silly string and shaving cream ban will be for anyone under the age of 21 and will go for 24 hours beginning Oct. 31 at 6 a.m. Guess a bunch of people under 21 will not be shaving on Halloween in Beverly Hills.

If you had to guess, how many people would get in trouble for breaking this rule?
