The events will take place October 20-22. It will coincide with another big Cleveland County event, The Mush, Music and Mutts festival. For Shelby Trail Days you can enjoy guided hikes and river paddles and a ceremony introducing the community to phase one of the Carolina Harmony Trail. The North Carolina House of Representatives declared 2023 the year of the trail.
A Shelby Trail Days event page has been set up. It will give you a schedule of events beginning that Friday morning with a bird watch at the Broad River Greenway. What a great way for people to get out and enjoy the wonderment of trails maybe for the very first time.
