South Carolina Man Pops The Question In Unusual Way With ‘High’ Hopes

Recently, a Spartanburg, South Carolina man staged a mid air proposal during a flight lesson. Seems these days everyone is looking for the next best way to propose or do gender reveals. And, what a clever way to stage a proposal. So, you might say he had “high” hopes. See what I did there?
According to WSPA, the local pilot, Cooper Bodem, met his now fiance about a year ago when she began flight lessons at the Spartanburg Downtown Airport. So, reminiscent of their first date, the pilot persuaded Marina Moroz to fly to Tripple Tree Aerodrome in Woodruff. Moroz is working on hours for her pilot’s license and is in the driver’s seat now.
Then, during the flight, Bodem instructed Moroz over a particular house in Woodruff. She noticed something unusual about the way the grass was mowed at the house. And, upon further inspection she realized it read, “Will You Marry Me?” Yep, the message was mowed right into the field in 60 foot letters. Of course she said yes. And, his “go big or go home” proposal during a flight lesson worked out perfectly.
While everyone might not have the same grand plans or access to a plane and a flight path, it’s a reminder to you folks out there. No matter what you decide to do for a proposal, he/she will remember it. It doesn’t have to be extravagant or expensive. It just needs to be special to the two of you. And, if you do that I know the answer will be ‘yes.’ Good luck to you and also to the Spartanburg man who pulled off this amazing proposal during a flight lesson.
