Every time I turn around lottery fever is on the rise again.  And, according to WLTX, someone in North Carolina purchased a $2 million winning lottery ticket in Saturday’s Powerball drawing.  So, you might want to double check those tickets to see if you’re the latest North Carolina millionaire.

The North Carolina Education Lottery indicates the winning lottery ticket came from Murphy Express on East Gannon Avenue in Zebulon.  And, just in case you don’t happen to be the lucky North Carolina millionaire, the next Powerball score rises to over a billion dollars.

And, by the way, the purchaser of the million dollar winning ticket over the weekend selected the mulitplier option turning it into $2 million.  So, don’t forget to optimize your odds when playing.
