Popular Barbecue Restaurant Opens One Of Several New Locations in This North Carolina Airport
Want a bite of delicious Tar Heel state barbecue before you head out of town or just when the wheels touch down? A popular barbecue restaurant opens one of several locations in this North Carolina airport. I just tried Midwood Smokehouse barbecue in Charlotte for the first time this weekend and it was delicious. I grew up in Shelby, North Carolina, home of delicious barbecue, and I hate to say it but it was the best I have ever had. Sorry Shelby people.
Midwood Smokehouse opened its new 115 seat location at concourse B at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Now everyone the world over will be able to see why North Carolina rules when it comes to good barbecue. Midwood is catching on. This is their fourth location in Charlotte and their seventh location company wide according to Channel 9.
The founder and CEO, Frank Scibelli, tells Channel 9 that Midwood is great for the North Carolina airport because barbecue is liked by just about everyone in any demographic. His company, the FS food group is behind restaurants you may have heard of like Mama Ricotta’s, Paco’s Tacos and Tequilla and Yafo Kitchen to name a few.
Scibelli tells Channel 9, “I think we are going to be very successful here”. For a town that knows good barbecue and for discerning food lovers everyone, I must agree. To learn more get details here from Channel 9.
