North Carolina Rescue Dog Gives Birth To Record-Breaking Litter
We love to see a rescue dog get a permanent home. A sweet Great Dane in North Carolina is looking for a home. She may have a few puppies to take along with her. This North Carolina rescue dog gave birth to a record-breaking litter.
Meadow arrived at Perfectly Imperfect Pups in Raleigh just days before giving birth. She is now the proud momma of 15 little ones. All of the puppies are happy and healthy.
The rescue’s founder and director Nicole Kincaid said, “Taking in a pregnant dog is even more of a challenge because you don’t always know when mom will give birth, how many puppies will be born, or what complications may come along.”
Kincaid added, “It makes me so sad that Meadow had such an unsteady past, being bounced around is no life for a dog. We are thrilled to have her in the rescue and this will be her last litter and her next home will be her forever home.”
CBS 17 has the full story and adorable photos of the mom and all the babies.
