When it comes to foods I love, I'm good with some eyebrow raising details. For example, I love Twinkies. I also realize that apparently there are enough preservatives in them that years after the world ends, there will be cockroaches and Twinkies. I'm also a huge hot dog/chili dog lover. Yes, I am one hundred percent aware of what's in a hot dog and how they are made. That being said, there's nothing better on a cold winter's night than one of my wife's broiled chili dogs. I guess such is now the case with a fave of mine from McDonald's.
Thanks to TikTok, it's now come to light that my beloved Big Mac may, shall we say, be able to stand the test of time. A woman on TikTok (username: "Medical Herbalist") has posted a video that has the world abuzz. In the video below she displays a Big Mac and fries combo on a plate. Oh, and this plate has been sitting on a shelf for eight months! Decomposition? No. Mold? Nope. Rotting smell? Not a chance.
And it seems that this is not the first rodeo experimenting with Mickey D's. Seven years ago, a photo of a six-year-old McDonald’s Happy Meal was shared that also showed these signs of invulnerability.
Any of this make me want my McDonald's fix less? I'll be in the drive thru later today.
