South Carolina Restaurant Week 2024 Is Coming And Here Are Some Favorites In Myrtle Beach
‘Tis the time of year for restaurant week in the Carolinas. Hundreds of restaurants across the two states offer fixed price menus with a sampling of some of their best dishes. And, it’s not just for Charlotte, North Carolina. South Carolina Restaurant Week 2024 is coming, and here are some favorites in Myrtle Beach.
We spend a lot of time in Myrtle Beach. And, with those trips comes exploring and trying new restaurants. But, once we find our favorites you bet we return again and again. Luckily, some of those are taking part in South Carolina Restaurant Week 2024. So, without further delay, let me highlight those. The dates for restaurant week are January 11-21, 2024.
21 Main Prime Steakhouse
First, we begin with 21 Main Prime Steakhouse. This spot is at 719 N. Beach Blvd., Suite 7 in North Myrtle Beach. It’s tucked away behind one of our favorite spas and just across the highway from Barefoot Landing. We tried this one last year for the first time. And, we had a wonderful meal with friends. The food was delicious. And, the service was excellent. It’s one of those special occasion spots. However, you can dress to the nines for a night out with the ladies. Or, you can feel perfectly comfortable taking your family. And, because it leans upscale, this week is a nice chance to try it without breaking the bank. Their South Carolina Restaurant Week 2024 offering is a 3 course dinner for $59 per person.
Some of their choices include bacon wrapped scallops, crab cake with tarragon aioli, sushi roll, French Onion Soup or Caesar Salad to start. Entree choices include, filet, chicken breast, bone in butcher block prime pork chop or Chilean sea bass. And, there are sides with those options as well. And, dessert is creme brulee or New York Cheesecake. Check the website for all the details. And, be sure to make reservations.
Black Drum Brewing
The other spot I want to highlight for South Carolina Restaurant Week 2024 is Black Drum Brewing in Kingston Plantation. This one opened just last year. In fact, we tried it in its opening week. And, although they were working out the kinks in their cocktail offerings, the food was tasty. And, the vibe and views are amazing. This one is fairly casual. It’s more of a good down home Southern spot with everything from yummy barbecue to delicious veggies. Their restaurant week offering is a 2 course dinner for $22 per person.
Black Drum starts off with hush puppies, smoked pimento cheese with barbecue spiced pork rinds or salad. For entrees, guests choose pork or chicken sandwiches with slaw, a beer brat and sauerkraut in a pretzel bun, fried chicken thigh or smoked portobello sandwich. And, the dessert choices are banana pudding or S’mores cake. Check the site for more in depth descriptions and to make arrangements.
So, these are just a couple of options we like. Browse the whole website to plan your South Carolina Restaurant Week 2024.
