Staying hydrated in the summer heat can be a difficult task, especially for those who already were not drinking enough. Luckily, GoodNet has five good hydration tips to help you stay healthy this summer.

Keep water near you and in sight

If you keep water out of sight, you're likely to forget about it for long periods of time. One of the easiest ways to form a habit of drinking more water is to keep it close to you. If you keep water by your bed you are more likely to drink it in the morning. You’re also more likely to drink water through the day if you keep it out on your desk or out next to you.

Add flavoring

If you don’t like the taste of water you can try adding different flavorings. There are a lot of flavorings available for purchase at most stores. You can also add things like lemon, mint, or fruits if you don't like artificial flavoring.

Create reminders

Scheduling different reminders throughout the day can also help you form better hydration habits. You can do this by setting alarms on your phone or downloading an app that will send you notifications throughout the day to remind you.

Drink other hydrating things

Water isn't the only drink that can keep you hydrated. Other things like juice, tea, milk, and smoothies can help you stay hydrated. You can also eat foods that have a high water content to reach your goals. This includes watermelon, cantaloupe, cucumbers, lettuce, and of course fruit popsicles.
