This Charlotte, North Carolina Farmers Market Among The Best
Charlotte, North Carolina’s Uptown Farmers Market made a very exclusive list by the publication. According to the charlotteobserver.com, Southern Living just put out their list of the 17 most fan favorite farmers markets in the south. Fans voted on things like their favorite seasonal fruits, veggies and locally made treasures.
From Humble Beginnings To National Acclaim
One of the cool things about the Uptown Farmers Market is it is relatively new and was actually formed as a nonprofit back in 2020. The hope was there would be more food access and community connection in the area. You will find this award winning North Carolina farmers market in Charlotte Center City near the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Not only can you find locally grown groceries there, they also offer on site health evaluations and education in nutrition.
There’s So Much More Than Fruits And Veggies
Now fruits and vegetables are not the only food available at this North Carolina farmers market. You can also find locally grown meats and locally sourced dairy products. Don’t forget local breads, pastries and desserts. And nothing helps allergies (allegedly) like good ol locally grown and sourced honey.
