Gastonia Restaurant Ranks 16th On Yelp’s Best List

We have been to this place many many times and it is always delicious. As a matter of fact, it is our go to spot for special occasions. And by special occasions, I mean any time we are hungry for something amazing. This Gastonia restaurant ranks 16th on Yelp's best list.

According to our source the Gaston Gazette, Webb Custom Kitchen in Gastonia has once again been ranked among the best restaurants in North Carolina. What an honor and a well deserved one in my opinion. Yelp recently released their list of the top 100 restaurants in the Tar Heel State.

I have met the general manager there, Nikki Wellman. Nikki always comes around the tables asking if everything was tasty. And it always is. She tells the Gaston Gazette that even though Webb has been recognized for excellence many times, the staff is always excited to get the nods. She has worked there for seven years but just became the General Manager over the past year. And knows the restaurant market is competitive.

When we go we get the cheesy bread and duck cigars always. And usually we order another popular appetizer called the "angry lobster". My daughter loves their fettuccine and deconstructed salad. I always get a wedge salad and the meatballs are to die for. It is also a fun place for a great girls night out.

Another reason why we love it there is not only the exceptional service but the atmosphere. It's located in the old Webb theater. And my husband can actually remember going to the movies there when he was a kid. So they keep the old movies theme. I suggest making a reservation and ask them if you can sit upstairs if you want a romantic date. Trust me on that one. Of course it is beautiful anywhere in the restaurant.
