Self-care is important for everyone, but that doesn't just mean doing things like going on vacation or out of the house. According to GoodNet, there are many different things that you can do at home to have your own self-care reset at home.

Start with morning meditation

The way that you start your morning can change how the entire day goes. Starting your day with something like meditation can help you to feel a lot more relaxed and focused the rest of the day.

Get some fresh air

One of the best things you can do on a self-care day is step outside the house for some fresh air and sunlight. You can go for a short walk, have a picnic, or just sit outside for a little while. If it's raining outside you can take an umbrella and have a calm rainy walk or stand outside under a covered patio.

Eat a healthy meal

Food has a large impact on both your mental and physical health. Eating a healthy balanced meal can make you feel 100x better on days where you aren't feeling your best. If you want a quick boost you can blend together healthy fruits or veggies and create a simple delicious smoothie. If you have more time you can create an entire healthy meal with protein, fruits, and vegetables.

Have a home spa day

If you’re wanting a nice spa day but you don't want to leave the house there are plenty of things that you can do. You can make your own homemade facial or hair mask with ingredients in your kitchen. You could also light a scented candle and take a nice warm bath. To make it even more special you could use bath salts or a bath bomb.
