Taller People Are Happier Here Are 3 Reasons Why
I saw this article in Time Magazine and I immediately thought of Blake Shelton. That is one happy fella. That joker is 6’5 and seems to have the world by the tall. Not sure if his height has anything to do with that or not. According to research taller people are happier and here are a few reasons why.
Taller People Are Happier
While we are on the subject of tall country singers, let’s run down a few of them. According to largest.com, Alan Jackson is 6’4. Darryl Worley is 6’6, Trace Adkins is that same height, and Charles Kelly of Lady A fame is also 6’6.
Princeton University researchers say that tall people live happier lives than short folks. Here’s how they determined that. They reportedly surveyed 450,000 people over the age of 18. They found that taller people appear to be more positive about their lives. And when they describe themselves they say they are happy and are less prone to complain of depression or even physical pain.
Men who described their lives as the worst possible were shorter. Those guys who described their lives as the “worst possible” were around an inch shorter than their taller brothers. But guys relax!! Some of the happiest country singers we know is Justin Moore and he is a little fella. Justin is 5’7. But that is an average height. Sort of. The average height for an American male is 5’9.
I tell ya what has worked for me, being funny! Everyone loves a funny guy no matter your height.
