After being eliminated from Dancing With The Stars, it's customary that contestants appear for the finale, but one contestant is rumored to not be there this year.
The Rumors Are Flying
According to reports, DWTS higher-ups don't want Anna Delvey to be a part of the finale. Controversy for Anna followed comments she made about the show like executives "used her to drive up ratings." Then, after being eliminated, she was asked what she learned from the show. Her response: "Nothing." "It felt like I was never really given a fair chance by the viewers or some of the judges, given their nonsensical scoring," continued Anna. "It's supposed to be a dance competition, not a popularity contest."
The Reason For The Ban
According to a source, the executives "just didn't want the drama that Anna could stir up." TVshowsAce.com says Anna said “I feel that the show so obviously used me to drive up the ratings, that they never had any plans to give me any chance to grow and only cared about exploiting me for attention,” the 33-year-old told NBC via email. “It was predatory of them to try [to] make me feel inadequate and stupid all while I did get progressively better yet they chose to disregard that.”
Just My Thoughts
Many think she should have never been on the show in the first place. So to some degree, she is probably right. Anna must have not driven the ratings up very high or they would have kept her in the dancing contest much longer.
