What states have the highest number of serial killers. Not a happy topic, but here we go.

The Worst States

As Halloween approaches, a look at the top five states in America with the most serial killers reveals Pennsylvania at number five, with infamous cases like Gary Heidnik's "House of Horrors."  Indiana follows with six known serial killers, including William Clyde Gibson.

Top 3

Ohio and Illinois tie for third place with seven serial killers each, featuring notorious cases like Jeffrey Dahmer and John Wayne Gacy.  Second place goes to California, known for the Zodiac killer and the Golden State killer. Texas has eight recorded serial killers  Topping the list is New York with 18 recorded serial killers, including the infamous "Son of Sam" killer, David Berkowitz.

Three states have no reported serial killers, and they are Nevada, Wyoming, and Nebraska.  Taste of Country says, let your curiosity get the best of you and go for a gander into the states with the most serial killers and see how where you live ranks on the full list.
