This happens to me all the time. I am out walking my dogs Winnie and Jelly Bean and if someone asks to pet them, I automatically let them. It’s flattering. But now we know it can also be dangerous. A North Carolina woman attacked after a man asked to pet her dog.

Our source Channel 9, discovered that a woman walking her dog in Huntersville, North Carolina was asked by a man if he could pet her dog. But the man had more nefarious plans. He reportedly groped her and then took her phone. The good news is the suspect was caught quickly. The incident happened earlier this week near Reece Boulevard and Kincey Avenue.
More On The Suspect
The suspects name is Kenny Jackson, he was arrested about a mile away from where the incident took place. Shawn Dennis tells Channel 9, “It’s horrifying. I run out here probably for five days a week, and I’ve never seen or heard anything like this before”. I haven’t either and now I will be more aware. And you will be too.
Jackson reportedly sits in the Mecklenburg County Jail on several charges. They include common law robbery, sexual battery and resisting police.
