Getting good sleep at night is super important, but sometimes life happens and you end up not getting proper rest. These tired days can be made a lot easier by following these tips from Goodnet

Enjoy some rays

Getting outside and enjoying the sun is a great way to re-energize. Sunlight boosts vitamin D which is why it helps you feel better rested. If you want to be more alert after a restless night, spending some time in the sun is a great option.

Move around

Getting exercise is another thing you can do in the morning to re-energize. Taking a few breaks during the day to get moving can also help to shake off any tiredness that might seep in from sitting at a desk all day.

Avoid distractions

Being tired makes it a lot easier to become distracted. This means it's super important to keep distractions away while working. Having noise canceling headphones and keeping your phone on airplane mode are two great ways to stay in your own work bubble. Cleaning off your desk before working can also help you to stay more focused and motivated while tired.

Push meetings back

When you get less sleep it's a lot harder to keep things like temper in check. This means that it's likely a good idea to push things like important meetings or confrontations off to the next day when possible. Deep breathing and trying to stay as alert as you can could help keep things like irritability in check if a meeting is necessary.
