Charlotte Bound Flight From New York Encounters Bird Strike,Everyone Safe
Not again. A Charlotte bound flight from New York encounters a bird strike. American Airlines confirms with our source, Channel 9 that there were no injuries during the emergency landing. This sounds eerily familiar to what happened back in 2009 with the famous “Miracle On The Hudson“. This time the plane was able to make it back to JFK.
Charlotte Bound Flight From New York Encounters Bird Strike
According to wsoctv.com, “Flight 1722 from New York’s LaGuardia Airport to Charlotte Douglas International Airport was diverted to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport due to the reported bird strike”.
All 196 On Board Were Shaken By The Event But Are Just Fine
The airbus landed just fine after the diversion and all 196 souls on board are just fine. Thank God! Another miracle. The flight is scheduled to re depart this morning after spending the night in a New York hotel.
I was just talking with my co workers about this crazy coincidence. And we were wondering if there were nesting grounds around New York’s LaGuardia Airport or what. Pure speculation on our part.Hopefully they will get to the root of the problem soon.
