On March 5, Odyssey Logistics opened its new headquarters at Charlotte's Whitehall Corporate Center, bringing new jobs to Mecklenburg County. The company handles everything from rail transport to warehousing. Its sustainable shipping approach fits Charlotte's environmental goals well. Launched in 2023, the office is part of their "One Odyssey" initiative, which aims to improve shipping services and make customers happier.

Located in a convenient spot, the Whitehall Corporate Center gives employees easy access to everything. Popular restaurants, retail shops, and entertainment are just minutes away.

The 23,000-square-foot office now houses 80 employees, including 43 local hires. Workers in IT, HR, and finance roles earn around $111,000 yearly on average.

"Our new home in Charlotte is a mutually beneficial development, both for our organization and for the North Carolina business community," Hans Stig Moller, CEO of Odyssey Logistics, said to WCNC. "Charlotte connects Odyssey with a strong talent pool, which continues to grow thanks to the city's quality of life."

Easy access to transportation attracted the logistics company to Charlotte. With major highways, railways, and an international airport nearby, the location complements their existing Managed Services office in the area. The city's busy airport was a big factor in the decision. As one of the world's busiest airports, it offers connections to destinations everywhere.

The office features bright, open areas built for collaboration. The ribbon-cutting brought together employees and local leaders, highlighting a boost for the area's economy.

Charlotte's business community continues to expand. Big companies like Honeywell and Centene Corporation have also chosen the city for their headquarters.
