City National Bank has announced the opening of two new offices in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Greenville, South Carolina. The Los Angeles-based bank is expanding and leaning into local talent and growing its presence in the Southeast. The bank made the announcement of the expansion on Monday in a press release.

The company has secured nearly 23,000 sq. ft. in Charlotte and an additional 5,7000 sq. ft. in Greenville. This will bring more than 28,000 sq. ft. of office space for City National Bank in the Carolinas.

With the addition of the Carolinas, the bank has expanded into the Southeast with locations in Atlanta, Nashville, and Miami. The new offices will be led by Charlie Arndt, Executive VP, Middle Market Southeast Region. Arndt will split his time between the Charlotte and Greenville offices.

“Charlotte and Greenville are vibrant, innovative markets, and we look forward to delivering the high-touch service our clients value, backed by local expertise," said Howard Hammond, President and Chief Executive Officer of City National. "We’re also delighted to have two beautiful new offices where our colleagues can feel proud to come to work and collaborate with one another.”
