Titanic: Echoes from the Past - a virtual reality experience - is coming to The GreenHouse in Charlotte. The attraction runs from May 2 through June 30.

According to Queen City News, this 45-minute free-roam VR adventure drops guests onto the Titanic itself. You'll start at the wreck site deep underwater, then time-shift back to 1912, where you can virtually walk the decks and witness the ship's most important moments unfold.

Eclipso Entertainment operates the show with Small Creative. Charlotte joins an international tour that has already stopped in Paris, London, and New York.

The GreenHouse isn't new to big attractions. Back in 2021, Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition pulled in 35,000 visitors and generated $1 million during its stay.

Tickets become available Friday, April 3 at 10 a.m. Kids and groups pay $22. Adults pay $26.

Book early. Capacity is tight because the VR setup needs small groups so participants can wander without bumping into each other.

The show merges tech with history. Guests strap on VR headsets and walk through a real space while the ocean liner materializes around them, appearing as if they've stepped back in time.

Several big cities worldwide have already hosted this tour. Each location presents the same 45-minute recreation of the famous ship.

Charlotte's run lasts almost eight weeks, wrapping up on June 30.
