Michael Waltrip Signature Bar Opens at Eleven Lakes Brewing in Cornelius

Michael Waltrip Brewing Company will unveil a new Michael Waltrip Signature Bar this month inside Eleven Lakes Brewing in Cornelius. This spot marks the fourth signature bar. It also creates a fresh partnership with Eleven Lakes.

The concept will blend into the brewery's taproom. Racing memorabilia from Waltrip's personal stash will fill the space, showcasing his career as a two-time Daytona 500 champion who calls Cornelius home.

Guests can try limited-edition beers and buy branded merchandise. Themed events will happen year-round. Brews on tap include Talladega Light lager, Bristol Sunshine Tangerine Ale, and The Big One double lager, plus rotating specialty batches crafted just for this bar. Carryout is available.

Waltrip said he looks forward to sharing the company's beers with residents and visitors to the Charlotte area, according to Cornelius Today.

Eleven Lakes owner and general manager Teri Lippy said the partnership positions the brewery as a gathering place for racing fans.

Michael Waltrip Brewing Company started in 2020. Today, it ships beer across six states and has branched into hospitality and entertainment ventures.

Three other taprooms sit in Tennessee. Cornelius gets the first signature bar outside that state.

The bar will display pieces from Waltrip's personal collection, giving fans a peek at racing history tied to his years behind the wheel. He claimed victory at the Daytona 500 twice — once in 2001, again in 2003.

Eleven Lakes Brewing operates in Cornelius and serves the Charlotte area.
