$2.2 Billion Allocated For Farmers, Ranchers & Forest Landowners

Fran Marie caught up with 2 amazing agricultural advocates. Attorney Monica Rainge, our Senior Advisor at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and Myles Caggins III with the Windsor Group and the Spokesperson for The Discrimination Financial Assistance Program.

Tell everyone you know that we need to hear from new farmers, previous farmers, and seasoned farmers regarding applying for the Discrimination Financial Assistance Program.

If you have faced discrimination regarding Farm Loan Programs before 2021, there is money set aside, but you must apply at 22007apply.gov.

This program is funded by the Inflation Reduction Act (Section 22007). The $2.2 billion allocated is for farmers, ranchers, and forest landowners who faced discrimination.  Applicants can receive up to $500,000 in payments.
