Francene Marie interviews Kevin Brawley the AMPLIFY After-School Choir Director. The children’s choir was birthed by Carolina Voices. We are so proud of Brawley because he receive the 2019 CMA National Music Teacher of Excellence and also won elementary school choir director in CMS.
Carolina Voices is the oldest choral organization in Charlotte which makes the initiative exciting. The first AMPLIFY After School Choir starts Thursday, September 1st in Myers Park Church.
AMPLIFY will feature two ensembles – crescendo, a 3-5 grade choir that meets Thursdays from 4:30-5:30 and forte, a 6-8 grade choir that meets 6-7 on Thursdays starting on September 1, 2022.
