A few years ago my spine doctor told me; “Do you want the bad news or the really bad news ?”
The bad news was I had three herniated discs and multiple bulged ones; the bad news was the MRI discovered I have degenerative disc disease. It’s fairly common if it runs in your family and especially if you couple that with participating in intense sports of any kind. The Dr told me I should never ride again or not at the same level. What were other choices that didn’t involve pills or surgery? Try yoga she said. And it has changed my life. Yoga is strengthening my back and helping me with balance and overall strength.
