It really is true.  Laughter is the best medicine.  It is fun to share a good laugh.  Sometimes it is even necessary for your health.  Here are 5 comedies that still make me laugh no matter how many times I see them.

No matter if I am watching with friends or just surfing around for something to watch, if I see one of these 5 movies on, I stop watch and laugh.  My very top pic is a destination movie sometimes.  And if you watch it with me, don’t be annoyed that I know just about every line in the movie.

It feels good to laugh! Don’t just take it from me that laughter is the best medicine, take it from the authorities like HelpGuide.org.

Laughter can actually improve your mental health and since it is mental health awareness month this is a great time to find the film that tickles your funny bone.

This isn’t up for debate because it is my personal top five.  But I just know I will think of something else at the last minute.  For the moment these are the top five comedies that still make me laugh no matter how many times I see them.

  • Best In Show 2000

I like most of the Christopher Guest directed movies but this one is by far my favorite.  Yes I know it by heart.  Just about every word.

  • Bridesmaids 2011

“You can’t make a movie with an all female cast, no one will go see it”.  HAHAHAHAHAHA!

I heard someone actually said that when they were shopping “Bridesmaids”.  What a hilarious movie that I do stop and watch or watch just on purpose.

  • Zoolander 2001

Give me a stupid Ben Stiller movie any day.  He has perfected the art.  And I am here for it.  Give me your best “Blue Steele” pose and enjoy this clip from one of my five favorite comedies.

  • Dodgeball 2004

Again, Ben Stiller.  That guy!  This movie is a little crude so not for the faint of heart or the easily offended.  Lucky for me, I am not easily offended.

  • A Mighty Wind 2003

Christopher Guest and company strikes again.  I must have a type.  Stupid comedy just appeals to me especially if I know the actors are improvising most of the time.  These people are hilarious, no matter the movie.  Wonder what she meant by “I’ll do things the other girls just won’t do?”.  Enjoy!
