Charlie & Debbie

Weekdays 3:00PM - 7:00PM

One of the texts that Debbie and/or I get at least once a week from Catherine Lane is “Do you have any new shows to binge?”  Seriously, we joke about it, but NO ONE is watching more streaming TV than Catherine.  So, in anticipation of this week’s text (and more important, as suggestions for you!), here are the top binge shows on Netflix currently.  You’ve got a little bit of everything:  original drama, dramatized true crime, comedy, and reality dating.

  • Pieces of Her

What if everything you thought you knew about your life was a lie? Based on the NY Times Bestseller by Karin Slaughter, and from the Producers of Big Little Lies and The Undoing, Toni Collette and Bella Heathcote star in the new edge-of-your-seat thriller series, Pieces of Her.

  • Queen of the South

QUEEN OF THE SOUTH tells the powerful story of Teresa Mendoza (Alice Braga). When her drug-dealing boyfriend is unexpectedly murdered in Mexico, Teresa is forced to go on the run and seek refuge in America, where she teams with an unlikely figure from her past to bring down the leader of the very drug trafficking ring that has her on the run. In the process, she learns the tools of the trade and strategically positions herself to become the leader of the Cartel.  This show aired for several seasons on the USA Network and now is available for streaming.

  • Inventing Anna

You’ve heard about this.  Now, check it out for yourself.  This whole story is completely true. Except for all of the parts that are totally made up. Created by Shondaland, Inventing Anna, starring Emmy Award-Winning actress, Julia Garner, Inventing Anna is now streaming only on Netflix.

  • Good Girls

This Christina Hendricks comedy series originally aired on NBC.  Missed it?  Binge it now on Netflix.

  • Love Is Blind

That moment when Netflix took a deep dive into reality TV dating.  Is love really blind? Hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey bring together single people looking for a to meet the person they want to spend the rest of their lives with… without ever seeing them. They’ll go on dates with a catch: they don’t meet face-to-face.
