Reba Gets Her First Dove Awards Nods, Will Be Honored By The ACM
Reba has countless country music awards and a couple of Grammys on her trophy shelves, but she might soon add music awards of another kind.
For starters, the legendary entertainer has just earned her first GMA Dove Awards nominations. Reba’s Christian album Sing It Now: Songs Of Faith & Hope and its lead single “Back To God” are up for Bluegrass/Country/Roots Recorded Album of the Year and Bluegrass/Country/Roots Recorded Song of the Year at the annual show, which takes place in Nashville October 17th.

The Academy of Country Music is preparing an honor for the superstar as well. Reba will be presented with the Mae Boren Axton Service Award at the 11th Annual ACM Honors in recognition her years of dedication to the organization. You might remember that she hosted the ACMs a record 14 times. She’s taken home an impressive 14 ACM trophies, too. The ACM honors will be filmed for a September 15th broadcast on CBS.
