Justin Moore Rattled By Daughter’s First Day Of School
First days of school can be scary for the little ones, but they can also be pretty scary for the big ones. Justin Moore, daddy to three daughters and a new son, is a prime example.
Justin recently recalled the first day of kindergarten for his oldest daughter Ella, who turned seven in February. “JR, one of my tour managers, was with me that evening, and we flew back from a show,” Justin says in an interview with his record label. “I don’t remember where we were on a Sunday evening, and she was starting on Monday, and I boo-hooed all the way home on the plane.”
Justin still hadn’t calmed down by the time he got home. “My wife was asleep,” he says. “We got home at like midnight and I said, ‘How could you sleep at a time like this?! What is wrong with you?!’
She goes, ‘What?!’ Then says, ‘She’s gonna be fine!’
I said, ‘I’m not gonna be fine!'”
The young family made it through the ordeal, of course. And Ella is now entering the second grade.
