Garth Brooks Has Been Working On The Farm
Garth Brooks has been doing more than playing shows in Las Vegas this summer. The country superstar has been doing some manual labor at his farm near Nashville.
Garth said on Studio G of his recent yard work, “I’m burnt to a crisp. I have been working outside non-stop. I’ve been working chainsaws and throwing sledgehammers, and you think that’s what you love to do. Then you go down and play music, and that’s all you want to do. Vegas is coming and I’ve missed it. It’s going to be great.”
The Garth Brooks Residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas resumes Wednesday (7/10) after a break. He then plays shows on the 12 and 13 of July before returning to Sin City in September for more shows. The entertainer has just over two dozen performances remaining before the one-of-a-kind concert experience draws to a close in December, and he’s loving every minute of it.
Brooks knows what’s making his Vegas residency shows special for him and his audiences. He said with a smile, “If you’ve been in The Colosseum, it’s not small but it’s personal, man. It’s right there.”

The country icon has been playing shows at his Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace this year. The new Garth Brooks 7-7-7 Jackpot Box Set includes seven discs of music filled with 77 songs and a custom book full of photos showcasing his performances at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
Garth told us, “When you think about Vegas, you think about getting lucky. Nothing’s better than 7-7-7. I love this box set simply because it’s got stuff in it you can’t get anywhere else.”
The new set is a lot like each performance he gives onstage at The Colosseum. However, the Garth Brooks 7-7-7 Jackpot Box Set has been created for folks to take home. It’s filled with four discs of cover songs reflecting his influences, songs performed live, and a unique collection of collaborations.
Brooks added, “When you think about the Stadium Tour, when you think about the Comeback Tour, the Dive Bars, the one-man show – the show at Caesars Palace has them all!”
He concluded, “I love this box because it’s got the greatest songs in it. But for me? It also has the greatest fun in it.”
